Length of bottom half of godet kite

Distance beyond the normal hem for the kite shaped godet.

Length of godet at seam with back panel

Radius of the godet. Radius and sweep determine how much room is added by the godet.

Godet Shape​

Shape of godet at bottom

Shape of godet:

  • arc - standard pie shape
  • squared - right angle added between sides of godet
  • triangle - flat bottomed godet
  • kite - arbitrary length godet with angled bottom

Godet Sweep​

Angle between godet sides at top
